Teal Horseshoe Earrings with Hammered Brass Posts

• Handcrafted from polymer clay

• Polymer clay earrings are very lightweight and can comfortably be worn all day.

I carefully make each pair of earrings with this step by step plan to ensure you receive beautiful handcrafted earrings.

• I begin with a slab of clay about 4"x6" that is run through my pasta machine until it is well conditioned and smooth.

• For this design I used teal clay and cut the shape with a horseshoe clay cutter.

• The pieces are then baked in my toaster oven on a low heat for I hour to ensure the clay is well cured.

• When completely cooled, I go through 6 grits of sandpaper to ensure a silky smooth finish.

• The next step is to give each piece a nice buffing to bring out a satin shine.

• The final step is to assemble the pieces and place them on an earring tag.

• Now they are ready to ship and for you to enjoy.
