Mica Shift Dangle with Brass Ring

• Handcrafted from polymer clay

• Polymer clay earrings are very lightweight and can comfortably be worn all day.

I carefully make each pair of earrings with this step by step plan to ensure you receive beautiful handcrafted earrings.

• I begin with a slab of clay about 4"x6" that is run through my pasta machine until it is well conditioned and smooth.

• For this design I used gold metallic clay using a mica shift technique. 

• Clay cutters are used to cut out the shapes.

• The pieces are then baked in my toaster oven on a low heat for I hour to ensure the clay is well cured.

• When completely cooled, I used 5 grits of sandpaper to make sure each piece was silky smooth.

• The next step is to give each piece a nice buffing to bring out a satin finish.

• Now they are ready to ship for you to enjoy.
